Every route to market, one stock pool

Trade, retail, on-site and online — all reserving against the same number, so nothing gets sold twice.

How it works

The availability list is the heart of it. Send it as a live link, a styled PDF, or an embed on your own site, all carrying your branding and your trade prices. It reads real stock, so the tray that sold this morning is off it by lunchtime.

The list and the PDF also show stock coming from batches that will be ready soon, updated daily, so buyers can see what’s on its way and register interest before it reaches the bench.

From that list a buyer takes a hold, asks for a quote, or places an order on account. Holds expire on their own, with a reminder to you two days before. A quote goes out as a link to a proposal page in your branding, Stockbed records when it’s opened, and it turns into an order without re-typing. Trade prices go by quantity, and accounts carry their minimum order and their terms.

Your logo, colours and font carry across the public list, the website embed, proposals, the availability PDF, invoices and till receipts. Receipts can be sent from your own email domain once you verify it in Settings. On Stockbed, one small “Powered by STOCKBED by Fenn” line appears; on Stockbed Plus it’s removed.

At the gate, the same stock sells for cash, for a card through the SumUp app on your phone, or by scanning the label. On the web, your Shopify or Woo shop keeps its own front door, and Stockbed pushes stock to it from the same pool.

Click and collect runs off your public list. A customer orders, chooses a collection point and a time slot, and gets a confirmation email in your branding; the stock is held from that moment. You set the opening hours, slot length, orders per slot, notice period, how far ahead they can book and the days you’re closed. They pay when they collect, through the till — cash, the SumUp app, or paid elsewhere — and an order nobody collects is released after a grace period.

Contract growing runs on the same pool without ever being offered from it. Batches grown for a named client are attached to the contract and held back once they’re ready, so the list, the embed and the till all pass them by. They leave only when you dispatch them to the client — in one load or several — and each load is recorded as a sale against that client.

And when you want buyers you haven’t met, the Fenn marketplace puts your availability in front of them — with the order landing in the same place as everything else.

Availability that’s never out of date

One link. Always current. Your branding. Send a branded list as a live link or a styled PDF, or embed a widget on your own site. It reflects real stock the moment it changes — no more re-typing a spreadsheet every Monday morning.

On your nursery

One link goes to every trade buyer on your list. It reads the same stock the till reads, so the 3-litre that sold this morning is gone from it.

Sell every way you sell

Trade, retail, on-site and online — one system behind all of it. Trade orders on account, quotes, customer holds, cash and card at the gate and scan-to-sell off the label, plus the Fenn marketplace to reach buyers you don’t have yet. All of it in one place, all of it against the same stock.

On your nursery

A quote to a landscaper on Tuesday, a hold for a garden centre on Wednesday, and a card payment at the gate on Saturday — all on the same ledger.

Click and collect, off your own list

Customers order from your public availability list, book a collection slot, and pay when they pick up. A customer orders from your public availability list, chooses a collection point and a time slot, and gets a confirmation email in your branding. The stock is held from the moment the order is placed. The order reaches your phone as a push; mark it ready and the customer is emailed. Nothing is paid online — at pickup it goes through the till, in cash, through the SumUp app, or marked as paid elsewhere.

On your nursery

A customer orders six of the 3-litre lavender on Thursday night and books the 10 o’clock slot on Saturday. The six come off the list straight away, the order lands on your phone, and when you mark it ready they get an email saying so.

Never oversell again

One live stock number behind every channel in Stockbed. Shop, phone, website, marketplace and trade all draw from the same pool. Holds, quotes, orders and the till reserve against it the moment they’re raised — and a maturity gate means you only ever sell what’s actually ready.

On your nursery

A landscaper rings for 40 of the 3-litre Photinia while the list is showing 60. You put them on hold, and the list and the till drop to 20 before the call ends.

Grown to contract, kept for the client

Plants grown to order for a named client, ring-fenced from every channel until they’re dispatched. Each contract carries the client, a reference, a due date and the plants committed, and the batches grown for it are attached from the day they’re started. Progress is worked out live from those batches — growing, ready and dispatched against what was committed — and once they’re ready the plants are held back, so no list, till, hold or order can sell them to anyone else.

On your nursery

A landscaper commits to 600 of the 3-litre Viburnum tinus for a scheme next autumn. The batches stuck for it carry the contract, stay off the availability list once they’re ready, and go out in three loads — the rest still held for the client between them.

When a landscaper or a garden centre commissions a crop, the batches carry the contract and the plants are held for the client from the moment they’re ready.
